What are mycorrizas and what is their function?

Mycorrhizae are fungi that form a symbiotic relationship with the roots of the plants. This beneficial association improves the absorption of water and nutrients, which translates into more vigorous growth and greater resistance to diseases and environmental stress. Mycorrhizae are divided into two main types: endomicorrizas, which penetrate the root cells, and ectomicorrizas, which form a network around the roots.

The main function of mycorrhizae is to expand the root absorption zone. They form a network of filaments that extends beyond the reach of the roots of the plant, allowing access to more water and nutrients in the soil. In addition, mycorrhizals protect the roots against soil pathogens and improve soil structure by creating aggregates that allow better aeration and water retention.

When should mycorrizas be applied?

Mycorrhizas can be applied in several stages of plant growth to maximize its benefits. It is ideal to use them in the early stages of growth, as in the germination of seeds and the rooting of cuttings. Great White Premium Mycorrhizae®
It is an advanced formulation that combines endo and ecto mycorrhiza, beneficial bacteria and trichoderma, designed to maximize the health and performance of plants.

How to use:

• Seeds: Lightly sprinkle the seeds for successful germination.
• Squares: Dip the cutting in a rooting gel and then in the Great White dust.
• Transplant: Sprinkle the planting hole and place the plant directly on top.
• Soil, coconut and topfeeding: mix 1 tablespoon (5 grams) per 8 liters of water and apply in irrigation.
• Hydroponic culture: Mix 1 tablespoon (5 grams) per 40 liters of water.

King Crab - Liquid Bacterial Product
It contains a high concentration of beneficial bacteria that improve phosphorus and micronutrient absorption.

How to use:

• There are existing soil or plants: mix 1/2 ml for each gallon of water and saturate the cepellone.
• Hydroponic culture: Mix 1/2 ml per 4 liters of water.

Orca® Liquid Mycorrhizae
Liquid microbial product that combines mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria.

How to use:

• Seeds: Apply 1-2 drops directly on the seed.
• Squares: Submerged in orca® at a rate of 1 to 3 ml per 4 liters of water.
• Hydroponic culture: Use 5 ml for every 40 liters of water.
• Soil, coconut and topfeeding: use 1-5 ml per 4 liters of water.

Myco Chum® Premium microbial food
It contains a mixture of molasses, hydrolyzed fish, liquid algae and humic acids.

How to use:

• Standard mixture: mix 5 ml in 4 liters of water and water the plants.
