The MC811 MAX continuous meter is a comprehensive solution for real-time monitoring of pH, electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature. Designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements, this system is ideal for applications in hydroponics, aquaculture, laboratories and other industrial environments where constant monitoring is required.

Operating procedure

  1. Installation : Make sure the monitor is properly installed in place before connecting the 12Vdc power adapter and plugging it into the mains.
  2. Temperature Unit Selection : Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as needed by adjusting the switch behind the protective label.

Calibration Process

  • pH : For pH calibration, use fresh buffer solutions of pH 4.01, 7.01 or 10.01. Immerse the electrode in the pH 7.01 solution and adjust using the calibration screwdriver until the display shows a pH of 7.0. Repeat with the pH 4.01 solution for two-point calibration.
  • EC : For EC calibration, immerse the probe in the 1413 μS/cm solution and adjust until the reading shows "1.41" mS, indicating that the calibration is correct.

Measurements

For continuous measurements, remove the protective cap from the pH electrode and ensure the probes are properly located in the nutrient tank. You can use a polystyrene float to keep the probes in position. The device screens will simultaneously display updated pH, EC and temperature values.
