Characteristics of CD611

The meter has automatic temperature compensation, which guarantees precision in different environmental conditions. It is supplied with a protection lid, a screwdriver for calibration, batteries and instructions for use in two languages, facilitating its configuration and management from the first use.

CD611 operation

To use the CD611:

1. Remove the black protective cover and activate the meter using the ON/OFF button.
2. Immerse it to the indicated limit and wait until the reading on the screen stabilizes.
3. Remember that the meter performs automatic temperature compensation.
4. Once the use is finished, clean the electrode with water to maintain its precision.
5. The value shown on the screen must be multiplied by 100 to obtain a direct reading in ms/cm.

CD611 calibration

The CD611 calibration process is direct:

• The meter is submerged in the EC calibration fluid (M10031) to the marked limit.
• Wait for reading to stabilize and then adjust the meter to 1.4 with the screwdriver on the back screw (which corresponds to an EC of 1413 µs/cm once multiplied by 100).
• It is always important to use fresh calibration fluids and not reuse them.

Change of batteries

If the meter does not turn on or the screen loses intensity:

• Open the battery compartment and replace the four batteries of 1.5V, making sure to respect the correct polarity.
• Only use the batteries specified in the manual to guarantee the correct operation of the device.
