The PH600 is an economic pH meter that provides rapid and precise measurements, with a range that covers 0.0 to 14.0 pH. This device stands out for its resolution and precision of 0.1ph, and is suitable for operating at temperatures from 0 to 50ºC. Its versatility makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, including agriculture, hydropony, home cultivation, fish farming, aquariums, swimming pools, laboratories, educational environments and food industry.

PH600 operation

To use the PH600 meter follow these steps:

1. Remove the black protective cover and activate the meter.
2. Summer it to the indicated limit and wait for the reading to stabilize.
3. Clean the electrode with water after each use and apply a few drops of the MA9015 liquid or calibration fluid PH 7.0 on the cover containing a sponge to preserve it properly.
4. Do not use distilled or deionized water to store the meter.
5. Significant variations in readings may indicate the need for a recalibration, a dry electrode, or batteries discharged.

Calibration and maintenance

To calibrate the pH600:

• The electrode immerses in the calibration fluid PH 7.01 (M10007), wait for the reading to stabilize and adjust to pH 7.0 with the screwdriver in the rear of the meter.
• Always use fresh calibration fluids.

To keep the electrode in good condition:

• Rinse with running water after each use.
• To clean accumulated dirt, use a soft toothbrush with liquid soap to gently rub the glass bulb and transparent tape.
• Every three months, give a bath to the electrode in a cleaning solution (reference: M10016B) for two hours.

Change of batteries

If the meter is not activated or shows little intensity, open the battery compartment and replace the three piles of 1.5V, making sure to respect the correct polarity.
