Shogun CalMag is a solution made up of Calcium, Magnesium, and Nitrogen, specially for reverse osmosis or distilled water. In addition, it works to correct deficiencies and stimulate the growth and flowering of plants.

Advantages of using Shogun CalMag in your crop

Plants need calcium and magnesium in order to carry out their most basic developmental processes, such as photosynthesis and nutrient transport. When there is a deficit of any of these components, low-quality, low-yield crops are obtained. By using CalMag, plants will obtain the minerals they need. If your plant already shows symptoms of nutrient deficiency, just 24 hours after applying the product you will see positive effects. On the other hand, the nitrogen and iron included in the mix help to restore vitality and color to the plants, while it is a very versatile product, so it can be applied in irrigation or as a foliar spray. Keep in mind that Calmag will raise the water EC, especially if the water is distilled or filtered by osmosis. 

Use and dosage of Shogun CalMag

CalMag can be used as a foliar spray or diluted in the irrigation solution. To treat nutrient deficiency, it is better to use it as a foliar spray, and in all other cases mix it into the nutrient solution. In both cases the dosage is the same since it only varies in the following circumstances. In crops with hard water, dilute 0.5 ml per liter from the 1st week of growth until root washing. For crops with soft water, dilute 1 ml per liter of water from the 1st week of growth until root washing. To raise the EC in irrigation water, add 0.5 ml/L until reaching the indicated EC level (0.4).
