How the sizing is worked out

| Light power | 300 W/m² on the Starter build, 400 on Complete and 500 on Top, with LED. With HPS 350 / 400 / 500 and with LEC 300 / 350 / 400. |
| Target PPFD | 700 to 1,000 µmol/m²·s over the canopy. |
| Height above the canopy | LED 30–45 cm; HPS and LEC 45–60 cm. |
| Extraction | 60 air changes per hour of the room volume, with a 2.5 factor for the carbon filter. Adjusted ×0.9 with LED, ×1 with LEC and ×1.1 with HPS. |
| Intake | 50 % of the extraction airflow, never below 30 % nor above 75 %. |
| Circulation fans | One fan up to 1.2 m², two up to 2.5 m², and one more for every 1.5 m² above that. |
