• What is Advanced Hydroponics pH Down Bloom for?

  It is the acid corrector from Advanced Hydroponics of Holland for bringing down the pH of the nutrient solution when it sits above the target range. It keeps the mix within the range where the nutrients are available to the plant. It is designed specifically for the flowering stage.

• What pH value should I aim for?

  The manufacturer recommends leaving the solution between 5.8 and 6.2. That is the range in which the nutrients stay available to the roots, so adjust until you land there and check the reading before watering.

• Do I adjust the pH before or after adding the nutrients?

  Always after. Add all the fertilisers and additives first, stir, and leave the pH adjustment until last. Every addition changes the reading, so correcting beforehand is of no use at all.

• Can it be used in soil, coco and hydroponics?

  Yes, it is suitable for all three systems. Whether you grow in soil, coco or hydroponics, the procedure is the same: prepare the complete solution and correct the pH at the end to 5.8-6.2.

• How do I dose it correctly?

  Drop by drop, measuring after each addition until you reach the value you want. Never pour it in freely, because it is a concentrated acid product and you would overshoot easily. Handle it with gloves and safety glasses and store it closed, in its original container and out of the reach of children.

• Which products in the range does it combine with?

  It fits with the Dutch Formula Grow 1, Bloom 2 and Micro 3 base and with the Root Stimulator, Enzimas+, Excellerator and Final Solution stimulators. Each of them alters the pH of the mix, which is why the adjustment is made at the end, once everything has been added. It is available in 0.5 L, 1 L and 5 L.
