Big Bud Coco It is the specialized version of Big Bud for growing in coconut substrate. Coconut, being an inert substrate, requires different nutrition than soil. Big Bud Coco includes additional chelation and adjusted ion balance for maximum absorption in coconut, where the CEC (cation exchange capacity) differs from soil. Provides the same floral stimulation as Big Bud Liquid but optimized for coconuts.

Big Bud Coco contains NPK 0-1-2 with coconut-specific ion chelation. Coconut absorbs cations (potassium, calcium, magnesium) quickly, requiring constant replenishment. Big Bud Coco makes up for this with extra potassium and calcium in chelated form which remains available in coconut environment.

Mechanism in Coconut Substrate

The coconut has high affinity for potassium, calcium and magnesium, retaining them in its fibrous matrix. Without supplementation, these nutrients are quickly depleted in solution. Big Bud Coco provides excess potassium and calcium in chelated form, ensuring constant availability for plants even while coco absorbs nutrients.

Coconut Dosing Protocol

Dosage: 1.5-2.5 mL per liter during flowering. Coconut requires a slightly higher dose than soil due to its ionic affinity. Start flowering week 3 at 1.5 mL/L, increase to 2.5 mL/L weeks 4-6, reduce to 1.5 mL/L week 7.

• Week 1-2 flowering: Discontinue Big Bud if it came from vegetation
• Weeks 3-4: 1.5 mL/L, moderate stimulus
• Weeks 5-6: 2.5 mL/L, maximum stimulation to compensate coconut absorption
