• What does this Aqua Control digital flow meter measure?

  It gives a direct digital reading of flow rate and of the volume of water used, so you know exactly how many litres you apply at each watering. No more guessing by eye.

• How is it installed?

  It fits in line between the tap and the hose, with no tools. It has a ¾ female thread, the most common size on garden water outlets.

• Why is knowing the exact number of litres useful?

  It is key when you want to dose nutrient solutions by volume rather than by time. It also lets you check that your timer is really delivering the water planned for each cycle.

• Can I use it to calibrate my irrigation timer?

  Yes, that is one of its most practical uses: checking and adjusting the real duration of your watering cycles. With the litres in front of you, you can fine-tune the times until you hit the figure you are after.

• Does it add much weight to the setup?

  It is a compact and very light unit, just 97 grams, finished in the grey and blue of the Aqua Control range. You can leave it permanently fitted without loading the tap thread.
