Full description

Frequently asked questions
-
Its base is Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract, with alginic acid 14.0 and mannitol 5.0. These actives stimulate root formation and speed up the start of the cutting. It is a rooting gel designed specifically for taking cuttings.
-
The gel texture is its big advantage: it stays stuck to the cut instead of running off or falling away. That seals the wound against air pockets and infection and releases the actives exactly where they need to work. With powders and liquids that contact is far more uneven.
-
Shake the container before use and dip the stem of the cutting into the gel for a few seconds. Remove the excess and put the cutting into the rooting medium. There is nothing to dilute or prepare.
-
It is suitable for jiffy plugs, rockwool and substrate, so it fits the three most common propagation methods. You can stick with the system you already use without changing your routine. The gel behaves the same in all of them.
-
The gel is sold by weight rather than volume, and is available in 25 g, 100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 2 kg. The small jars suit hobby growers and the large ones are designed for a professional cutting room. Choose the size according to how many cuttings you take.
-
That is not advisable. Always take the cutting from a mother plant in the growth phase, never from a flowering plant. It is the basic condition for the gel to do its job properly and for the cutting to get away quickly.
