Maintain the pH within the optimal range, between 5.8 and 6.2, is crucial for correct assimilation of macro and micro-nutrients. If the pH exceeds 6.8, plants experience difficulties absorbing nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. On the other hand, a pH lower than 5.5 hinders the absorption of minerals such as copper, magnesium or iron.
