  Yes, it's recommended to soak it in the nutrient solution 24 hours before transplanting to stabilise the pH. It's also a good idea to rinse it beforehand with water to remove any dust particles. This way you avoid clogging the drip system.

  It's a clean growing system that doesn't break down and is free of diseases and pests. The pebbles are inorganic, have a neutral pH and don't go mouldy or rot. Their high pore volume and air content give strong roots with optimal anchorage.

  It has a stabilized pH between 5.5 and 6.5, which makes it an excellent medium for hydroponics. That stability helps the nutrient solution always work within the right range. It's one of the reasons it's used in all forms of hydroculture.

• Which fertilizers give the best results with it?

  This type of substrate delivers the highest yield when combined with COGr Vega A+B and COGr Flores A+B. You switch from Aqua Vega to COGr Flores A+B when the first buds appear, which usually happens after 1 to 3 weeks on a 12-hour light schedule. This way you support the switch to flowering properly.
