• What is the 1-face Dissheat?

  It is an insulating plastic with a reflective face and adhesive already built in. It sticks straight onto the wall, with no battens, no tape and no auxiliary frame, which makes it the quick option when you want to insulate a room without any building work.

• How much surface does one roll cover?

  Each roll measures 1.2 x 25 m, which is 30 m2, enough for a complete small room. Work out the metres of wall you are going to cover before ordering so you do not come up short.

• How do I install it step by step?

  The wall must be dry, clean and free of loose paint. Peel the protective backing off little by little from top to bottom while smoothing it out so you do not leave bubbles, leave a 2-3 cm overlap between sheets and, at the corners, cut and overlap instead of forcing the material.

• Do I need to buy the joining strip as well?

  The joining strip is a separate reference from the roll, so it is not included. It is a 0.1 x 25 m band to seal the overlap between rolls: add it if you are going to put up more than one sheet.

• What improvement will I notice in the room?

  It reduces heat exchange with the outside, so you spend less on climate control and the temperature swings less between the light cycle and the dark one. That is exactly what you are after if your room heats up or cools down suddenly.

• Does the reflective face also make use of the light?

  Yes, it returns both the light and the radiant heat to the inside of the room. So on top of the insulation you gain better light use from the same installation.
