  It is a silicon supplement in the form of soluble silicic acid that strengthens plant cell structure. It contains 3.8% monosilicic acid, the most bioavailable form of silicon, which plants can absorb and translocate easily.

• Why does it matter that it's monosilicic acid?

  Because it's the only form of silicon that plants can actively transport across their membranes; other silicon sources are insoluble and unavailable. Dutch Pro's process guarantees the product's complete solubility.

• How and when is Silica Von Liebig applied?

  Dutch Pro's official dose is 0.4 ml per litre of water, applied with every watering or nutrient application. It's used from when the seedling is 2 weeks old until 2 weeks before harvest, and consistency is key: irregular use reduces its effectiveness.

• What benefits does it bring to the plant's structure?

  Silicon is deposited in the cell walls, making them thicker and harder, resulting in sturdier stems and a lower risk of flowers snapping under their own weight. Plants treated with silicon can support more biomass without collapsing.
