• What is Growth Technology's pH Down?

  It's a regulator designed to lower the pH of your watering water to optimal growth levels. It's phosphoric-acid based and highly concentrated, making it very effective even with hard water. With the pH where it should be, the plant absorbs nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium better.

• What sizes is it available in?

  It's available in 1-litre and 5-litre sizes. This lets you choose the one that best fits your grow's needs. The 5-litre size is especially handy if you're working with large reservoirs.

• Does it work well with hard water?

  Yes, its phosphoric acid base makes it highly concentrated and effective at lowering the pH of hard water. You'll only need a few drops to treat large amounts of water. That makes managing your watering much more efficient.

• How is it used?

  First add all the fertilisers and components to the watering solution and measure the pH with a digital meter. If it's above 6.5, add a drop and measure again, repeating until you reach the desired level. For precise application it's recommended to use a pipette or dropper.

• How far does it go?

  Thanks to its concentration, you can adjust the pH of up to 5 litres of water with just a few drops. This makes it very economical to use and greatly extends the life of the bottle. The first few applications may require some adjustment until you get used to the process.

• What pH range should I maintain?

  Keeping the pH between 5.5 and 6.8 is crucial for plants to absorb essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Above or below that range, they struggle to assimilate micronutrients such as copper, iron or manganese. That's why it's important to measure at every watering.
