• What is Plagron Light Mix made of?

  It's a mild soil made from blonde peat, black peat, fibrous peat and perlite. This combination delivers a high level of oxygenation. 37% of the product is dry matter, with the rest being organic matter.

• When should I start fertilising?

  It comes pre-fertilised for the first week of use only, so you can start feeding from the second week onwards. During those first few days you save yourself some work. After that, you add whichever fertilisers you prefer, such as the Plagron Kit Top Grow Box.

• What's the advantage of its low nutrient level?

  Its low nutrient content lets you feed the plant however you like, with whichever fertilisers convince you most. Its low EC value also speeds up the rooting process. It's the choice for anyone who wants to fertilise à la carte.

• What sizes is it available in?

  You can choose between the 25-litre and 50-litre size. The choice depends on the number of plants in your grow. For small grows, the 25L bag is usually enough.

• Can it be used for sowing and for transplanting?

  Yes, it comes ready to use and works both for sowing and for transplanting plants that have already flowered. You just have to add it to the pot and follow the fertilising schedule. It's suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing.

• What products give the best results with it?

  The best yields are achieved by combining it with Terra Grow, Terra Bloom and Plagron's additives. Its mineral NPK nutrients amount to 1.5 kg per cubic metre, and its water retention is 6 ml/g. With that base and the right fertilising, your grow has everything it needs.
