Pure Factory 600W Electromagnetic Ballast – Fission, EMB, Lux Plus and Pure Light V2

600 W electromagnetic ballasts for HPS and MH lamps at 220-240 V. They are the most economical and robust option: with no electronics to fail, they last for years. On the downside, none are dimmable and they weigh quite a bit more than an electronic one.

Open or closed: the difference that matters

• Open: the winding is visible on a base plate. Cheaper and dissipates heat better, but it is not plug and play: it requires electrical assembly and must be installed out of reach, in a dry and protected area.
• Closed: the winding is inside a housing, with wiring already done. Safer, cleaner, and plug and play in most models.

• Fission open: 600 W, 3.5-5 kV start-up. Not plug and play.
• EMB closed: class 1 enclosed housing. Not plug and play.
• Lux Plus open: the most economical option in the range.
• Lux Plus closed: plug and play.
• Pure Light V2 closed: plug and play, version 2.
• Pure Light V2 plug and play + cable: includes 3x1.5 C-14 cable, 1.5 m.
