• What is Shogun's Katana Roots and what is it for?

  Katana Roots is a powerful rooting agent that gives you strong root development in a short time, both in newly germinated seeds and rooted cuttings. By stimulating the roots, your plants grow faster, demand more water and food, and arrive at flowering better prepared.

• Does it protect the roots against fungi?

  Yes, besides stimulating root development, it protects the roots from harmful fungi and bacteria, especially pythium. The result is fast, strong rooting, with an increase in root hairs.

• What dose of Katana Roots should I apply?

  For seeds and cuttings, the recommended dose is 5 ml per liter of water up until the first week of growth. During the growth stage it's used at 0.2 ml per liter and continued until the third week of flowering.

• How do I use it to germinate seeds or root cuttings?

  You can soak jiffy pellets or rockwool cubes in a solution of 5 ml per liter of water. Leave them to soak for an hour, drain off the excess liquid, and then insert the seed or cutting. By the time the first roots appear, they'll already have an extra boost of nutrients.

• Is it compatible with my irrigation system and other fertilizers?

  Yes, Katana Roots is compatible with all irrigation systems and growing media. You can also combine it with the rest of the Shogun fertilizers, such as Sumo Active Boost.

• Does it also help during flowering?
