Terra Aquatica CultiMate S and L – Air Lift Drip Hydroponic System

The CultiMate is the evolution of Terra Aquatica’s classic systems: the CultiMate S replaces the WaterFarm (15-liter reservoir) and the CultiMate L the AquaFarm (45-liter reservoir). Both are single-plant systems with a one-piece rotomolded body.

They work by air lift: they do not use a water pump. A small air pump, of less than 2 W, injects air into an internal column; the bubbles carry the solution upward and let it drip onto the substrate, which is usually clay pebbles. The excess drains back to the reservoir and the cycle repeats nonstop. Since there is no submersible pump, there are very few parts that can fail and electricity consumption is almost negligible.

Which version to choose

CultiMate S (15 L): 30.5 × 30.5 × 37 cm. For medium-sized plants or short cycles, and for small grow tents where you will place several units.

CultiMate L (45 L): 46 × 46 × 43 cm. It triples the nutrient reservoir, so it lasts more days between refills and the EC fluctuates less. It is the option for large plants with long cycles.

CultiMate L Solar Pump: the L version powered by a solar air pump, for outdoor or terrace growing without a nearby power outlet.

About the BOX versions

The S BOX and L BOX references are sold at the same price as the standard ones and the supplier does not publish any description explaining the difference; everything suggests that only the retail packaging changes and not the system contents. We say this openly because we do not want you to pay for something you think is different: if in doubt, ask for the standard version and we will contact the supplier to confirm it.

1. Monta la columna de elevación y conecta la bomba de aire con su tubo.
2. Llena la cesta superior con arlita previamente lavada.
3. Añade agua al depósito, ajusta el pH entre 5,5 y 6,2 y la EC de la fase.
4. Enciende la bomba de aire y comprueba que la solución gotea de forma continua.
5. Trasplanta y deja el sistema funcionando 24 horas al día, sin temporizador.
6. Renueva la solución cada 7 a 14 días y limpia la columna en cada cambio.
