• What growing phase is Top Crop Complete Mix best for?

  It's a light substrate ideal for the growth phase and for crops where you want to add your own fertilizer. It's recommended from the first rooting and throughout the early growth phase, also with cuttings.

• Can I water with fertilizers, or do I risk overfertilizing?

  You can do it without worry. Complete Mix contains a small dose of fertilizers, just enough to cover the plant at that stage, so with such minimal amounts you won't overfertilize your plants when watering with fertilizer.

• What exactly does this substrate contain?

  Its composition includes coco fiber, plant compost and H2-H4 Sphagnum blond peat, plus perlite at 5 g/L, leonardite at 2 g/L and a solid blend of macro and micronutrients at 3 g/L. It has 76.2% organic matter on a dry-matter basis, an EC of 0.52 and a pH of 6.

• How do I fill the pot correctly?

  Put the substrate in the pot and press it down gently, without compacting it. If you pack it too tightly you lose aeration, and the roots won't colonize the medium as well.

• Can I grow by watering with just water?

  Yes, but for that it's best to enrich the mix before planting. Add NitoGuano, SuperGuano and Top Vulcan to the substrate and you'll be able to run the whole crop watering with just water.

• Does it help root development?

  Yes. Its components are high quality and allow the plant to develop a strong root system, later able to absorb large amounts of nutrients. A good root start makes a difference throughout the whole cycle.
