• Do I need to feed if I use Top Crop Heavy Mix?

  No, it's not necessary. Heavy Mix already contains the nutrients the plant needs, including Top Vulcan and Superguano, so you don't have to add fertilisers to the irrigation water. It's the convenient option if you want an organic grow without dealing with feeding charts.

• What type of plants is it designed for?

  It's ideal for growing with organic fertilisers and fits especially well with autoflowering plants and with cuttings that go straight into flowering. Since it's already loaded with nutrients, it covers the plant's needs in both growth and flowering.

• How do I fill pots with this substrate?

  Fill the pot, pressing lightly with your hands to avoid air pockets, but without packing it too tightly so you don't lose aeration. You can first add a 2 cm layer of expanded clay pebbles at the bottom to improve drainage.

• What products can I combine it with for a bigger yield?

  Although it doesn't need it, you can add the Green Explosion growth stimulator and the Big One flowering stimulator to boost overall yield. During flowering you can also rely on a base like Top Bloom to make sure macro and micronutrients aren't lacking.

• What is Heavy Mix's composition?

  It combines coconut fibre, blond peat H2-H4 and black peat H6-H7 with crushed volcanic gravel at 0.6 g/l, bat guano at 1.2 g/l, 0-4 mm expanded clay, leonardite at 2 g/l, and a blend of micro and macronutrients at 3 g/l. Its organic matter over dry matter is 58.7%, with an EC of 0.44 and pH 6.5.

• What does the included Top Vulcan contribute?

  It's designed to help cuttings and autoflowering or feminised seeds grow strong and resilient during the growth period. Together with Superguano, which works on fattening up the fruits, they form the base that makes feeding the irrigation water unnecessary.
