Treegers PAR Quantum Meter – PPFD Meter 400-700 nm with Remote Sensor

Treegers quantum PAR meter with remote sensor. It measures PPFD—the micromoles of photons that actually reach the plant—in the PAR range from 400 to 700 nm.

Why measure PPFD and not lux

A lux meter measures what the human eye sees, not what the plant uses. PPFD is the metric that truly determines performance: it lets you know whether the fixture is at the correct height, whether the distribution is uniform, and whether the edges of the crop receive enough light.

The remote sensor matters

The sensor is separate from the display by cable, so it can be placed at canopy height while being read comfortably. Without a remote sensor, the meter body and your hand cast a shadow over the measurement itself.
