Vanguard Horti Max HPS Bulb 600W – High Pressure Sodium Bulb for Indoor Flowering

Frequently asked questions

• Which stage is the Vanguard Horti Max 600W bulb for?

It's a dual-spectrum bulb that works for both growth and flowering. Its mix of blues and whites makes it ideal for the growth stage, and its orange spectrum also makes it very effective during the flowering period.

• How much light does it give off and how long does it last?

It's capable of putting out up to 80,000 lumens with a color temperature of 2000K. Its lifespan is 24,000 hours, longer than traditional bulbs, making it a cost-effective purchase in the medium term.

• What socket does it have and which ballast should I use it with?

It comes with a universal E40 socket, so you can install it in any ballast. It's best to use it with electronic ballasts of the same wattage: that way you can adjust the intensity and get the most out of its full lifespan.

• How often should it be replaced?

Over time, all bulbs gradually lose power. For the Vanguard Horti Max 600W specifically, it's recommended to replace it every two full grow cycles so you don't lose yield at harvest.

• What do I gain by using a dual-spectrum bulb like this one?

By covering both major growth stages with a single product, you avoid needing a different bulb for each phase. With it, you can enjoy faster growth and a higher-yielding flowering stage.

• How long does shipping take and can I return it?

Shipping takes 24/72h, and you have easy returns within 15 days. You can pay securely by card, Bizum, or PayPal, or split the payment with Klarna or ViaBill.
