• What is the VDL Scrog Net and what is it for?

• Can it damage or mark the stems?

  No, its fabric is elastic and gives just enough to follow the plant's growth without marking or damaging the stems. At the same time it's lightweight and stable, so it doesn't deform or sag when the branches start bearing weight during flowering.

• What sizes are available?

  You can choose between 1 x 5 meters, 1 x 10 meters, 2 x 5 meters and 2 x 10 meters. That way you can cover anything from a small cabinet to a sizable room or greenhouse.

• Can it be reused in the next cycle?

  Yes, it's fully reusable. At the end of the cycle you simply take it down, clean it, and store it for the next harvest. It sets up in minutes and holds up through the whole grow without losing its shape.

• What exactly does the SCROG technique involve?

  It involves stretching a horizontal net above the plants and, as they grow, weaving the branches through the gaps so the canopy ends up flat and spread out. This eliminates height differences between branches, and all the buds receive the same amount of light. The result is that you make the most of the space in your cabinet or greenhouse.

• Is it only good for SCROG, or does it have other uses?

  It has several uses. Besides trellising and supporting flower-heavy branches so they don't bend over, you can use it to mark off zones within the grow space or separate plants from each other. Outdoors it also works as a physical protective barrier for the crop.
