Why T5 and not LED or HPS

The four tubes distribute the light in a very even way over a flat surface, which is exactly what a tray of cuttings needs: no hot spots. And above all they generate very little heat, so the reflector can be kept 15-20 cm from the cuttings without dehydrating them. An HPS at that distance would burn them, and a powerful LED stresses them before they have roots.

Recommended use

• Cuttings: enough light to root without forcing the plant.
• Germination: even distribution across the entire tray.
• Mother plants: vegetative maintenance with low consumption.
