SANlight EVO 1.5 – Integrated Driver Grow LED Bar, from 200W to 340W

The SANlight EVO 1.5 series is the Austrian manufacturer’s range of modular LED bars: passive aluminum body, integrated driver, and full spectrum from 400 to 780 nm. Each model is identified by two numbers: the first is the number of LED modules (and therefore the power) and the second is the length in centimeters.

The market still shows the datasheet for version 1.0 associated with these references. The data we publish here are for version 1.5, which is the one actually sold, checked on the manufacturer’s official website:

• 3 modules (3-60, 3-80, 3-100): 200 W · 545 µmol/s · 2.73 µmol/J
• 4 modules (4-80, 4-100): 265 W · 725 µmol/s · 2.74 µmol/J
• 5 modules (5-100): 340 W · 915 µmol/s · 2.69 µmol/J

The 1.0 version gave 190 W / 520 µmol/s, 250 W / 696 and 320 W / 870 respectively. If you see those figures, they are from the previous version.

How to choose the model

With the same number of modules, the power and PPF are the same and the only thing that changes is the length: a 3-100 spreads the same 545 µmol/s over 100 cm instead of 60 cm, so it provides less intensity but more uniformity. Choose the length based on the width of your space and the number of modules based on the intensity you need.

Integrated driver and dimming

The driver is inside the fixture: there is no external box to place or wire. Dimming is done with SANlight’s BT-Dimmer Bluetooth, which is sold separately.
