Terra Aquatica CultiMate Aero – 45 L Aeroponic System for Up to 5 Plants

The CultiMate Aero is the aeroponic version of the CultiMate range and the successor to Terra Aquatica's classic AeroFarm. On top of a 45-liter reservoir (46 × 46 × 38.5 cm), it supports up to 5 plants housed in net pots.

In aeroponics, the roots do not live in substrate: they hang in a humid chamber and receive the solution sprayed as fine droplets. This means they have oxygen permanently available, which is the factor that usually limits growth in classic hydroponics. The result is very rapid root development and very low water consumption, because almost everything that is sprayed returns to the reservoir.

Aero 2" or Aero 3"

The only difference between the two versions is the diameter of the pots: 2 inches for cuttings and young or small plants, and 3 inches when you want more space for the plant collar and a thicker stem. The reservoir, body, and pump are identical, and so is the price. Choose based on the plant size you will be working with.

Keep in mind: aeroponics is the system least tolerant of power outages and clogged sprayers. If the roots are left without mist, they dry out in a short time. It is worth checking the sprayers every week.

1. Monta la tapa con las cestas y el circuito de pulverizadores en el depósito.
2. Llena con agua, ajusta el pH entre 5,5 y 6,0 y usa una EC baja al principio.
3. Coloca los esquejes o plantines en las cestas con un poco de lana de roca o arlita.
4. Arranca la bomba y comprueba que todos los pulverizadores dan niebla.
5. Mantén el sistema en marcha de forma continua o en ciclos muy cortos.
6. Revisa los pulverizadores cada semana y renueva la solución cada 7 a 10 días.
