• What is the Clivex Clip Fan for?

  It is for moving the air inside a tent or a small grow room, where the problem is not total airflow but still air among the plants. It clips on and creates constant circulation. That way you avoid the pockets of stagnant air that cause so many problems.

• Which models are available?

  There are two versions: one with a 15 cm base and 15 W, and an oscillating one of 23 cm and 20 W. The first comes with a base, so you can use it with the clip or simply standing. The second sweeps a much wider area thanks to its oscillating movement.

• Where can I clip it on?

  The clip grips onto a bar, a tent crossbar or the edge of a shelf. It takes up not a single centimetre of floor, so the space stays free for your pots. You can also place it at whatever height you like, above or below the canopy.

• How should I aim it so it does not damage the plants?

  Never point it straight at the leaves from close up, because it burns the edges. The right way is to aim it above the canopy or towards a wall so the air bounces back and circulates through the whole volume. One well-placed oscillating fan does more than two badly aimed fixed ones.

• What benefits does it bring to the grow?

  Constant air movement strengthens the stems and breaks up pockets of humidity, reducing the risk of fungus and of mould in flower. It also helps prevent zones of stagnant air from forming among the plants. All of that with very low consumption, 15 or 20 W depending on the model.

• Which one suits the size of my tent?

  The 15 cm one with a base is the most compact and fits perfectly in small tents and propagators. The 23 cm oscillating one is the choice for medium and large tents, where you want to cover the whole canopy with a single fan. It is a basic that no tent should be without.
