Why use vermiculite No. 2 for plants?
Vermiculite No. 2 is a product capable of absorbing up to 5 times its weight, so it is perfect for making substrate mixtures and providing humidity. An ideal mineral to mix with substrates and achieve greater aeration and hydration. There are substrates where it is difficult for water to soak in more or they dry easily. This is a problem in warmer areas. As it is not as hard as expanded clay, the substrate in which vermiculite is integrated will be able to retain much more water. Likewise, the elasticity and lightness of vermiculite prevents caking and suffocation of the substrates, thus achieving let the roots breathe better. How to use vermiculite No. 2 for plants?
