Frequently asked questions

• What is Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra and what is it for?

Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra by Advanced Nutrients is a calcium and magnesium supplement optimized to prevent deficiencies of these critical nutrients. Both come in chelated form for immediate absorption by the plant.

• Why are calcium and magnesium so important?

Calcium is a component of cell walls, and magnesium is the core of the chlorophyll molecule. Without enough Cal-Mag, plants slow their growth even when the base nutrients are present.

• What ratio of calcium and magnesium does it provide?

It provides calcium and magnesium in a 3:1 ratio, typically 40 ppm Ca and 15 ppm Mg, which is the ratio plants require for maximum efficiency.

• How is Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra dosed?

Apply 2 to 3 mL per liter with every watering throughout the whole cycle, both during vegetative growth and flowering. This ensures the plant never suffers from calcium or magnesium deficiencies.

• In which types of grow is it most needed?

It's especially important in coco growing, since this substrate absorbs calcium quickly, and in hydroponic systems, where calcium and magnesium can be depleted quickly. In both cases it's considered an essential supplement.

• How can I pay and when will I receive my order?

We ship within 24/72 hours and you can pay securely by card, Bizum, PayPal, or in installments with Klarna or ViaBill. You also have easy returns within 15 days.
