• What is Atazyme and what does it do in the substrate?

  Atazyme by Atami is an enzymatic complex that breaks down the dead organic matter accumulated in the substrate: dead roots, organic debris and deposits. The result is a clean substrate, with maximum nutrient availability and roots with no competition for space.

• What enzymes does Atazyme contain?

  It contains a balanced blend of protease, which breaks down proteins and dead roots; lipase, which acts on fats, waxes and lipid deposits; and cellulase, which degrades cellulose, organic fibers and woody roots. It also includes complementary enzymes for polysaccharides and complex organic matter.

• How is it dosed and how often?

  Apply 1-2 ml per liter every 7-10 days throughout the whole cycle, together with watering to achieve maximum distribution in the substrate. The first application is recommended between watering 5 and 7, and during flowering it's best to increase to 2 ml/L due to greater root activity.

• Why is regularity more important than dose?

  Enzymes need time to act on organic matter, so regular application every 7-10 days is more effective than a single high dose. With consistency you maintain continuous decomposition throughout the whole grow.

• What benefits does it bring to the roots and the plant?

  By breaking down dead debris, it becomes available nutrients for the living roots and frees up space for them to expand. In addition, removing dead matter helps prevent disease, since it no longer serves as a refuge for pathogens.

• In which grows is Atazyme most useful?

  It is especially useful in intensive grows, where dead root debris accumulates, competes for space and blocks absorption. Using it throughout the whole cycle keeps the substrate clean and in optimal condition from start to finish.
