The Atami Hydro A+B is a two-component mineral nutrient system specifically formulated for hydroponic crops in inert substrates (arlite, rock wool, perlite, mapito). Unlike soil nutrients that depend on the slow release of mineral elements from the substrate, Hydro A+B provides all nutrients in immediately available form, controlling osmolality and pH precisely.

The NPK ratio (19% N, 15% P, 27% K) was calibrated through scientific research for hydroponic systems, ensuring that nutrient distribution can be constantly maintained in solution without precipitation of insolubilized.

Bi-component Structure and Reason for Being

Hydro A+B is divided into two components to avoid precipitation that could clog drip systems. Component A contains nitrogen and potassium, while component B concentrates phosphorus, potassium and minor elements. This separation guarantees chemical stability of the nutrient solution during several days of storage.

Hydroponic Dosage and Application

The standard dosage is 1-3 ml of A + 1-3 ml of B per liter of nutrient solution. The 1:1 ratio of A to B must be kept constant at all stages of cultivation.

Dosing Plan per Phase:

• Rooting (0-2 weeks): 1ml A + 1ml B/L
• Vegetative Growth (2-6 weeks): 2ml A + 2ml B/L
• Flowering (6-12 weeks): 2.5-3ml A + 2.5-3ml B/L
