It is an essential product to maintain EC at adequate levels and very necessary to counteract the detestable nutritional deficiencies that we usually face when growing indoors.
Composition and benefits of Calmag Agent
CalMag Agent achieves incredible results thanks to its compounds, which are:
- 6.8% Calcium
- 6% Nitrogen
- 2.4% Magnesium

Leave aside the worries of suffering from nutrient deficiency. This is because in cultivation it is essential to keep the EC at a minimum of 0.4. However, when using soft or osmosis filtered water the EC is very low and we must increase it with the appropriate amount of Calcium and Magnesium.
Dosage and how to use Calmag Agent
Using it is very easy, but you will need a EC meter to ensure proper dosage. If you already have one You will only have to follow these steps.
- Fill the irrigation tank or reservoir with tap water.
- Measures the EC level of water without any nutrients or additives.
- If the EC value is greater than 0.4, you should refrain from applying CalMag Agent.
- If the EC is less than 0.4, you must apply 0.1ml per liter of water until you reach the appropriate level of electroconductivity.
- Add the rest of the additive fertilizers.
- In case of nutritional deficiencies you will have to add between 0.1 and 0.5 ml per liter of irrigation water.
