• What does the Faven Jumper Cable do?

  It is the interconnection cable that links one bar to another within the Under Canopy system. It lets you build tidy daisy-chained lines, with no loose cables or improvised splices. As well as power, it carries the control communication between fixtures.

• Which length should I choose?

  The 3 ft version, that is 90 cm, is designed for adjacent bars, short runs or changes of direction when turning a corner. The 9 ft one, 2.7 m, covers wide gaps between bars or between grow rows. You can combine both lengths in the same room as it suits you.

• Which fixtures is it compatible with?

  Both lengths are compatible with the Chroma range and with the R8, Faven's two under canopy lines. As it is the manufacturer's original cable, it fits without adapters. That way you make sure the control signal reaches the whole line correctly.

• Does it cope with the humidity of a grow room?

  Yes, its connectors are watertight, designed precisely for the humid environments of a grow room. That prevents the contact failures that usually appear with improvised connections. It is an important detail when the installation runs below the canopy.

• Can I expand my system later on?

  Yes, the daisy-chain connection lets you link several bars together from a single line. When the room grows, you only have to add bars and the corresponding jumpers. The wiring stays tidy and is easy to extend.

• Is it worth keeping a spare one?

  It is highly recommended, because a damaged cable can leave part of the line without a control signal. Having a spare to hand avoids shutting down a whole installation over a minor detail. Besides, we ship in 24/72 hours if you need a replacement urgently.
