Description
- 💦 Optimal pressure for osmosis systems: Raise the input pressure to more than 60 psi, improving membrane performance and reducing discarded water.
- ⚙️ Essential in low pressures: Ideal when network water pressure is less than 3 kg/cm² or in unstable pressure facilities.
- 🔌 Two available versions: Powergrow/Maxquarium model for domestic use and mega Grow for more demanding crops or large flow facilities.
- 🌿 Compatible with equipment up to 500 l/day: Suitable for Powergrow, Maxquarium 000 ppm and Mega Grow systems, guaranteeing pure water at all times.

Full description
Pressure Pump Kit for PowerGrow, Maxquarium and Mega Grow Osmosis Systems
The Pressure Pump Kit for osmosis systems It is an essential complement for any installation where the mains water pressure is insufficient or unstable. When the inlet pressure does not reach the 3kg/cm² (40psi), the reverse osmosis membrane cannot work efficiently, which considerably reduces the flow rate of osmosis water and increases the volume of waste water. This pump solves that problem by raising the pressure up to more than 60 psi (4 kg/cm²), which allows the system to operate in optimal conditions and make the most of the filtering capacity.
This type of pump is especially recommended in homes with low pressure, installations fed by pressure groups, or when seeking to improve the performance of osmosis equipment that produces large volumes of water. With it, waste is reduced, membrane performance is optimized and the system is stabilized against fluctuations.
Main benefits
-
Increase inlet pressure at optimal levels for reverse osmosis.
-
Improve actual performance of the system, allowing the nominal flow to be reached.
-
Reduces reject water, making the process more efficient and sustainable.
-
Avoid fluctuations that affect the production of pure water.
-
Easy to install and compatible with home and professional equipment.
Available versions
PowerGrow and Maxquarium Pressure Pump Kit
Designed for home reverse osmosis systems up to 500 L/day, like:
-
System PowerGrow
-
System Maxquarium 000 PPM (with deionization)
Specifications:
-
Minimum inlet pressure: < 40 psi (3 kg/cm²)
-
Outlet pressure: 60+ psi (4 kg/cm²)
-
Transformer: 220V/24V/1.2A
-
Hose included: 0.5 m
Ideal for growers who use mid-range or domestic equipment, and need to increase efficiency without making large installations.
Pressure Pump Kit for Mega Grow
More robust version, designed for osmosis systems. greater flow that require more stability and power, such as:
-
System Mega Grow
-
Reverse osmosis equipment up to 500 L/day, with intensive demand
Specifications:
-
Minimum inlet pressure: < 40 psi (3 kg/cm²)
-
Outlet pressure: 60+ psi (4 kg/cm²)
-
Weight: 4.2kg
-
Dimensions: 20 x 20 x 13 cm
Perfect for advanced users, professional growing systems or facilities with high water requirements that need a continuous and stable flow of osmosis water.
Both versions fulfill the same objective: increase water pressure so that osmosis systems work more effectively, but each one is designed for a different context of use. If you grow at home or have a compact equipment, the PowerGrow version is ideal. If you work with large volumes or professional systems, the Mega Grow is your best option.

How to use

Frequently asked questions
-
It's used to raise the inlet pressure to the level your reverse osmosis unit's membrane needs. When the system's pressure falls below the working range, osmosis water production drops and the reject water increases. This kit solves exactly that problem.
-
There are several clear signs: your pressure gauge reading below 3 kg of inlet pressure, the unit clearly producing fewer liters a day than stated on its spec sheet, or the reject water ratio being higher than normal. The units are calculated for water at 25 degrees, 500 ppm TDS and a mains pressure between 3 and 6 kg, with optimum at 4 bar.
-
No, the three kits are not interchangeable. Kit 422113 is for the Power Grow 500 and Maxquarium, the HF 422120 kit is exclusive to the Mega Grow 1000, and the 2500 kit, part number 400504, is for the Growmax 2500 and Growmax 3000. Installing the wrong one leaves the unit without the correct flow or pressure, so check your model before choosing.
-
It's the right kit when your mains inlet pressure is below 40 psi, and it raises it to over 60 PSI to restore the membrane's working conditions. It includes a pressure switch, so the pump starts and stops on its own according to the system's demand. You don't need to keep an eye on turning it on.
-
It should not run for more than 3 hours in a row. Respecting that limit is essential for the pump's lifespan, so plan long production runs in batches. It's the most important maintenance recommendation for this kit.
-
The 2500 pressure pump kit, part number 400504, is a made-to-order item: it's not kept in permanent stock and is specifically requested from the manufacturer after purchase. If you're planning an installation with it, check availability with us first. Keep in mind that installing it brings the system's production up to 3,000-3,500 liters a day.
