HY Water Chiller — Chiller for Hydroponic and Aeroponic Systems

The HY water cooler is a professional chiller Made in Italy and designed specifically for hydroponic, aeroponic and aquaponic growing systems. It keeps the nutrient solution in the tank at the optimal temperature (between 18 and 22 °C) during the summer, preventing hot water from promoting root diseases such as pythium and improving oxygenation and nutrient absorption by the plant.

Why do you need an HY chiller in your crop?

When the water temperature rises above 22-24 °C, the amount of oxygen dissolved in the nutrient solution drastically decreases, the roots suffer thermal stress and the pythium proliferates. The HY chiller lowers the temperature in a precise and controlled manner to ensure a healthy root environment throughout the cycle.

Recommended installation

1. Place the chiller in a ventilated area, outside the grow tent if possible.
2. Connect the water inlet to the tank with 16 mm pipe.
3. Install a prefilter and one water pump with flow according to the chosen model.
4. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature (recommended: 18-22°C).

5. Verifica la temperatura del agua con un termómetro calibrado.
6. Limpia los filtros y serpentines del enfriador periódicamente.
