  I-Clone Gel is a rooting agent with seaweed extract and Ascophyllum Nodosun hormone. It boosts the development of the cutting's root system while keeping it protected from the pathogenic infections that often ruin cuttings. It is a gel designed to make taking cuttings simple and reliable.

• What sizes is it sold in?

  It is available in three sizes: 15 ml, 50 ml and 250 ml. The small sizes work well if you only take a few cuttings now and then, while the 250 ml makes sense if you propagate regularly. You can choose the size when you add the product to your cart.

• How do I apply the gel?

  Take the cutting and dip it about 2 or 3 cm into the gel for a few seconds. Then place it straight into whatever rooting medium you use. You do not need to be an expert: the process is extremely simple.

• Do I need a propagator after applying it?

  Yes, it is highly recommended. Once the cutting is in the rooting medium, you should use a plastic propagator so humidity stays high and the cuttings do not dry out before they root. It is the natural companion to this gel.

• How much water should I give the rooting medium?

  Less than you probably think. It is important not to wet the medium much until you see roots, so avoid overdoing the water inside the propagator. Too much moisture in the substrate is one of the most common mistakes when taking cuttings.
