• How does the Defender differ from the Proguard DXB?

  It applies the same PCO technology, but in a fixed-mount format and with its coverage stated by surface area rather than by volume. It is designed for installations where the purifier is part of the room's permanent equipment and does not move between cycles.

• What surface area does each model cover?

  The Defender covers 46 m², designed for a complete room. The Defender Mini covers 23 m², for a small room or a drying area. Measure your room before deciding and do not go too small.

• Can I move it from one room to another?

  That is not what it is for: the Defender is installed as permanent equipment in the room. If what you want is a unit you can move around between cycles, the alternative within the range is the Proguard DXB.

• Which replacement part does it need over time?

  Each model has its own replacement ARC PCO Cell, so the one for the Defender and the one for the Defender Mini are not the same. Check which one you have fitted before ordering.

• Is it designed to run throughout the whole cycle?

  Yes, it was designed for continuous operation throughout the whole growing cycle. Being a fixed unit, you install it once and it just gets on with its job without you having to keep an eye on it.

• Does it only act on the air?

  No, PCO technology acts both on the air and on the surfaces of the room, and it does so without leaving any residue. That is what sets it apart from a system that only treats the air passing through it.
