How to prepare peat Jiffy7?

The key to successful growing at Jiffys is preparation. For this, you have to leave the chips soaking in water for a few minutes, until you see that they have swollen enough. Then, it is necessary to drain them very well and with enough force so that there is no excess water. Many growers do not have success with Jiffys as they do not squeeze the discs well and the seeds rot. The important thing is squeeze them very well to be successful in this growing medium.

1. Coloca el disco Jiffy7 en agua tibia hasta que se expanda completamente.
2. Escurre el exceso de agua apretando ligeramente el disco.
3. Haz un pequeño agujero en el centro con un palillo o lapicero.
4. Introduce la semilla o el esqueje en el agujero y cúbrelo ligeramente.
5. Coloca en germinador con cúpula a 22-26°C y humedad alta.
6. Trasplanta el disco directamente al sustrato cuando las raíces salgan.
