Frequently asked questions
-
It is a bucking machine that separates the flower from the branch, the step before trimming. You pass the branch through a plate with calibrated holes that pulls the whole flower off and leaves the stem clean. It automates the stage that, done by hand, eats up more staff hours than the trimming itself.
-
No. The hole plate is calibrated to pull the whole flower off without crushing the material or damaging its structure. It is the exact opposite of yanking buds off by hand in a hurry at the end of a long day.
-
The MB Bucker 200 Lite is the compact machine for medium production runs, easy to move and to clean. The MB Bucker 500 is the high-capacity model, designed for a professional processing room with high volume. Choose according to the volume you handle each season and the space you have.
-
The MB Bucker is the first link in the chain. Next come the MT trimmers, cold separation with MX Ice if you do extractions, and finally drying, either conventional or by freeze-drying. It does not replace the trimmer: it prepares the work for it.
-
Always work at the right moisture point. If the material is too dry, the flower crumbles as it passes through the plate; if it is too wet, it gets squashed and sticks. Getting that point right is what makes the difference in the result.
-
Bucking by hand is the real bottleneck of a big harvest and the stage that eats up the most staff hours. With the MB Bucker that step becomes a matter of minutes. It is also professionally built, designed to work season after season.
