C66: Waterproof Pocket EC Meter for Professional and Home Use
The C66 EC Meter is a portable, waterproof tool designed to measure electrical conductivity (EC) in a wide range of environments. This device features automatic temperature compensation and a replaceable probe (MA73076), providing accurate and reliable measurements from 0.00 mS to 10.00 mS displayed on its LCD screen.
C66 EC Meter Applications
The C66 is ideal for use in agriculture, hydroponics, fish farming, aquariums, swimming pools, laboratories, water treatment, food and education. Its compact design and water resistance make it perfectly adaptable for field or laboratory measurements.
Operation of the C66 EC Meter
To use C66:
- Remove the protection from the probe.
- Turn on the meter by pressing the ON button.
- Immerse the meter in the liquid to be measured, preferably in a glass, to obtain a more stable measurement.
- Let the meter compensate for the temperature for a few seconds.
- Turn off the meter by pressing the OFF button after taking the measurement.
C66 EC Meter Calibration
To calibrate the C66:
- Unscrew the top cap and immerse the probe up to 2 cm in EC calibration fluid (recommended options: 1413uS, 5000uS).
- Use the screwdriver included with the meter to adjust the reading. For 1413uS calibration fluid, the setting should be 1.41uS.
C66 EC Meter Maintenance
C66 maintenance is simple:
- Dry the electrode with a soft cloth after each use.
- Replace the protective cap to prevent damage to the probe.
