The square pot plates are a very practical and very useful accessory for your crop. Manufactured in very resistant plastic, they will allow you to have everything cleaner and enjoy greater drainage in the plants. There are different sizes of plates to fit the measurements of the pots. 

Why use a square pot saucer?

The square pot saucer is placed below it so avoid having to collect water from the ground every time you have watered. An easy and comfortable way to always keep the crop clean. Needless to say, it is easier to collect water from the plate than from the ground.  Furthermore, when the pots become too dry, the water we pour into the plants falls back. If you have a plate underneath, you can pick up the water and pour it back onto the plant. A technique that allows you to save water and reuse it.  However, it is not advisable to leave stagnant water in the dish for more than 24 hours, as it can affect the roots of the plants to the point of rotting them. Stagnant water will probably be dirty.  It is very important, yes, separate the plate from the ground with some object so that heat does not pass into the pot, especially if the crop is outside.
