• What is the Trolmaster DSH-2 module for?

  The DSH-2 is the 240V humidity control module of the Hydro-X ecosystem. It lets you connect and automate humidifiers or dehumidifiers from the controller, keeping relative humidity within the optimal range without manual intervention. It's the piece that links your humidity equipment to the brain of your grow.

• What equipment power does the DSH-2 support?

  It controls humidifiers or dehumidifiers up to 10A at 240V, although it's recommended not to exceed 7A for greater stability. Check your equipment's power draw before connecting it. With that margin you'll cover most household and grow appliances.

• How does it connect to the Hydro-X controller?

  Integration with the Hydro-X HCS-1 is direct via a Plug and Play RJ12 connection. It also has an LED status indicator and a built-in addressing system. In just a few minutes you'll have the module running within the system.

• What does the DSH-2 package include?

  The package includes the DSH-2 station, a 4-metre RJ12 cable, a 4-foot RJ12 cable and a T-shaped RJ12 splitter. In other words, everything you need to connect it to your Hydro-X right from the start. The module measures 8.5x8x9 cm.

• Does it work with both humidifiers and dehumidifiers?

  Yes, it works with both types of equipment. Depending on what your room needs, the Hydro-X will activate the connected humidifier or dehumidifier to keep relative humidity within the set range. You define the target and the system takes care of the rest.
