  Because it moves the water constantly and keeps the nutrients mixed around the clock. This stops the heavier molecules from settling at the bottom of the reservoir. When the irrigation timer starts, the water is already ready to be pumped with the perfect mix.

• How is the Neptune Hydroponics stirrer installed?

  You just need to place it inside the reservoir, securing it with the included suction cup. It also has a ball-type mechanism that lets you direct the water flow wherever you need it. It's a quick, tool-free installation.

• Which model should I choose based on my reservoir size?

  There are two models, 6W and 12W. For reservoirs of 90 to 200 litres you can use the 6W; if the reservoir is bigger, the 12W is recommended. For reservoirs of up to 1000 litres, it's best to install two 12W stirrers.

• Can I direct the current toward a specific spot?

  Yes. Its internal propeller and the ball-type mechanism let you direct the water flow wherever you want. It also includes diffusers that fit in front of the propeller to aim the current jet more precisely. This lets you adapt the water movement to the shape of your reservoir.

• Does it help oxygenate the water?

  Yes, the stirrer increases water oxygenation, improving the effectiveness of air pumps and air stones. It's the perfect complement if you already have that equipment in the reservoir. Together, they keep the solution in better condition.

• Does it prevent the drippers from clogging?

  Yes. By continuously moving the water, the stirrer helps prevent sediment from forming and reduces the risk of the irrigation drippers clogging. It's a simple way to save yourself maintenance on the line. And at the same time, every plant receives the same nutrient concentration.
